| | Maugan Party - shiver me timbers | | by: LFB - Monday 07 September 2009 - 16:30:23 | Well what can I say - I am tired and hungry and in need of a long hot shower, but I have returned from what can only be described as an absolutely amazing set of people that I am proud and honoured to know - YAARGGGH!!!
I have over come my fear of Subway - I have played some awesome LAN (except for TF2 annihilation by NJ and Katie with Joe as medic nightmare of the year) - notes to self must except more invites from Yono (and so must the rest of you).
Everybody was truly awesome and I cannot do justice to all the awesomeness, but what happened at the party should and will stay at the party, unless the people wish to talk about it.
Our next one is officially now going to be split into two parties.
One mini party in Vienna in March/April and the serious big party in Ireland on the first weekend of September - all are invited to both. I was worried about inviting girls for the first time, but Katie and Doodah were both truly awesome people and I am very happy that they are both Maugan members and as our first girls into Maugan are a massive highlight to starting a co-ed gaming community.
The only disappointing thing about the whole weekend was that Lebowski did not host very well being the only local and he claimed to be Panicless the whole weekend - must try harder next year Leb :p
Thank you all for turning up and for those that could not make it we missed you very much - please make the next one in Ireland.

| Maugan Party Next Week | | by: LFB - Saturday 29 August 2009 - 22:00:27 | Well it has finally arrived - we look with both excitement and intrepidation to the Maugan party next weekend. Excitement because it will be the first time I have seen many members in the flesh and intrepidation because it is going to be a long one and the last party we had I had a bad turn at Subway sandwich station - I would say it was something I ate but I had not eaten anything that day.
So I don my drinking head and raise a glass to all who will travel to the festivities and another glass to those that won't. I shall miss the fact the Fabian will not be able to make it, that Paddy and Seal will not come due to very good reasons, that Aak and Lago will arrive in London a month to late and all the others with their tales of woe.
I will also will raise one more glass (you can see why I had a bad turn) to our comrades at Crazy. Even though there are some who call me crazy for raising my glass after all the shit we have had to endure, it is getting close to Christmas and the Crazy party I organised in the UK does bring back whistful memories of fun times.
I will miss Lamby and Ram not attending or Wolf with his dog collar and Pink KA. I shall also miss Lazy and Thuggy, but the water has passed under that bridge.
But I cannot wait to meet Don, Shin, Dark, Doodah, Yono, Moggy, Leb, Katie, Sir T and his wife, maybe 4play if he can make it and all the others all for the first time.
I look forward to seeing you all next week and can not wait to dance the night away with you all.If you cannot get to the event then speak to Leb as he is organising a bus to pick people up from any country - he starts the collections tomorrow - good luck Leb.

The venue is booked, the time has been agreed and we are taking bookings now - all friends of Maugan invited.
The list of attendees is steadily growing and we may have to make arrangements at the nightclub so everyone gets in.
Even if you can only stay for 1 day make sure you get along to the party as it will be good to meet you all in person.

Welcome to Maugan Gaming!
Maugan Gaming is a newly established European gaming community that is intended for gamers from all walks of life.
Our servers are based in the UK and the majority of our members are UK based aswell but we do take on members from any European country and in special circumstances non-European players aswell.
Members of Maugan Gaming play a plethora of different games but for the time being the four main games in Maugan are Counterstrike:Source, Call of Duty 4, Team Fortress 2 and the korean mmorpg Rappelz.
Our main purpose is to provide a fun and relaxed retreat where our members can hang out and enjoy the thrills of teamwork across a wide range of games.
Those of you coming from the Crazy clan are encouraged to contact the management if you wish to know more about this new endeavour.
Feel free to register on our forums and if you wish to apply for membership in Maugan, please read through the recruitment page that can be found in the menu to your left and follow the instructions.
For now Maugan is not active in any ladders but we will be entering Enemydown for CS:S wars and possibly a CoD4 league to be determined later.
